Dr. Melin is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology (ABPN) with an added qualification in neurophysiology. He is also certified by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine and is licensed by the Indiana Board of Pharmacy.

Dr. Howe was educated in Hong Kong and the United Kingdom. He graduated from Charterhouse in Surrey, England and went on to earn his Medical degree at the University of London, England. Post- graduate studies were initially in Surgery and Medicine in the UK and New York City. He obtained his specialist diploma from Indiana University in Anesthesiology.
He has been in private practice in Anderson since 1983. He has been chief of Anesthesia both at Saint John's Hospital and Community Hospital, Anderson. He was most valuable physician at Saint John’s hospital in 1994. He directed the Saint John’s Pain Clinic for 15 years until joining Central Indiana Neurology, PC in January of 2010.
He is Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management. He was also one of the first physicians in the country to implant the St. Jude’s Medical Neuro-stimulator EON Mini System.
His practice is of interventional pain management which includes but is not limited to spinal injection, kyphoplasty, spinal cord stimulation, medication pump implants and medical management. His philosophy involves a multidisciplinary approach. [ back to top ] |
